You can block an e-mail using spam filters. There are many definitions of
spam, but one particularly useful one is the following:
Spam is the electronic version of junk mail, and has been around since the
Internet was created. E-mail filters are a way of filtering your e-mail to
remove unwanted mail based on a variety of criteria. You can block any sort of
e-mail, not just mail of a commercial nature.
Blocked mail can be deleted automatically or sent to another e-mail
address or script. These filters are quite flexible.
You can also enable spam software called
Spam Assassin
What is SpamAssassin?
Spam Assassin is an automated mail filter that
uses a wide range
of heuristic algorithms on mail headers and message body text to
identify "SPAM" (unsolicited email). Once identified, the mail is tagged
as SPAM for later filtering using the user's desktop mail client
or
you can choose to
enable the Spam Box feature. This will cause
all mail marked by Spam Assassin as spam to be delivered to a
separate mail box called 'spam'. You easily can check messages
that are routed to this box.
If you wish to use pop3 to check the spam box, just add "/spam"
(without the quotes) to the end of your pop3 login.
(Example: joe@igfdgdgfggd.com/spam)
Just click on the Spam Assassin Icon
in our easy to use control panel
and click on enable
After you enable Spam Assassin
Each incoming e-mail is scanned for signs that it may be SPAM,
and if it is determined that it's likely to be SPAM, it is altered to clearly
reflect this, so that you -- the user -- can decide whether to delete or keep it.
Or you can set spam
assassin to automatically delete spam mail so you don't have to!
Customize Spam Assassin
You can customize spam assassin to block
specific e-mail addresses
and to block specific words
You can do this using the spam assassin icon in our control panel
after spam assassin is enabled you can click on customize
But I Don't Get Much SPAM!

you don't get much SPAM, no need to enable
spam assassin
